They told my daughter in court they would help her pay March, April and Mays rent in front of the judge after she had a terrible car accident and totaled her car and couldnt physically work anymore. When that time came for her to submit the application to them, we called for an appointment and they give us a meeting date one day before the payment was due per the court agreement then blamed her that she didnt come in sooner. Then even though they make us sit and do the application and tell her she is approved, they send nothing to let the landlord know. The landlord personally tells us she emails and calls them daily with no response. Finally we get someone on the phone after 10 DAYS of trying and they tell my daughter sorry but we need better proof that you lost your job. So she was evicted. They let a single mother and 22 month old get put out on the street even though they got funding from the state to help her. The older man who runs the program is one of the nastiest and rudest people you will ever meet. We are going to pursue them on every outlet that we can. They should not get away with pocketing money intended to help prevent homelessness.
