If I could give ten stars I would! Ive been working with Erica for the past 3-4 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and is a wonderful advocate for my daughter. Id highly recommend if you need help navigating the special education system.

Erica has been beyond amazing for our family and my son who has really struggled in the public school system. Our son really trusted her and so do we. She guided us every step of the way, thru complicated and very difficult terrain with our district. We were able to get our son the much needed and proper placement with out a lawyer. She cares for the kids above everything else. She will fight for your kiddo like a true mama bear would, when her kid is in trouble. She got us thru very complicated and overwhelming stuff, helped clarify, advocate and was like a trusted family member. She cares and knows the laws to help get what is needed for your family. I don't know where we would be without her help. While she is strong, crazy smart and strategic; she is also collaborative, diplomatic and fair with the school staff and administrators when this is possible. After working with Erica Twitchell at AdvocacyNJ for the past two years, I unequivocally recommend their services. Collaborating with Erica on my children's needs and accommodations is both cost effective and produces positive outcomes with our school district. We've achieved the same goals with Erica as we did with our special education attorney as it relates to accommodations and advocacy at a much more reasonable price point. Navigating the school system when you have a child with special needs is like having a second full time job that is invisible to everyone around you and it is often emotionally & mentally exhausting.
