Food is fabulous, owners are friendly and welcoming and atmosphere is cozy! My new go to breakfast spot! You have to experience it for yourself!

Do not recommend. The waiters are high schoolers in sweats. Plastic plates, plastic utensils, no napkins...just a roll of cheap paper that doesn't even tear evenly. The floor jumps up and down as people walk by, it's like eating while on a trampoline. Cheap, cheap, cheap! Very underwhelmed for a place in Kenilworth, NJ. The toast was not fresh/warm or buttered properly. Coffee sucks. Just NO! On the positive side home potatoes were good and the omelet was good. Not my vibe. Don't plan on returning.

Best place ever. Not only is the coffee exquisite (even for a black coffee drinker), everything weve tried is a 10/10. Chat and Griddle even catered our sons birthday party last fall. Everyone was raving about the food for weeks. We love the atmosphere and truly appreciate that the owner hires high school students and lets them be themselves in a relaxed fit. The sandwiches are wrapped perfectly in quality paper, and easy clean up with disposable plates and appreciate the eco-friendly paper towels. Chat and Griddle has character, my son even loves the bouncy floor! The owner is so kind and humble. He truly cares about his community and puts so much effort into this place. Perfect spot for Kenilworth. Sandwich pictured is the Roasted Turkey BLT. Divine.
