When it comes to finding Doctors today, it is hard to find one who actually truly cares about the patient. Dr. Joseph Popovich is NOT one of those Doctors. He is Top Notch in all aspects of what you want in a Doctor. He is kind, caring, considerate, and the best surgeon I have had with my many operations. He saved me from an 8 to 10 surgery, which he did in an HOUR. I had multiple surgeries starting Dec. of 2022 through June, 2023. These surgeries caused multiple hernia's. I was sent to a surgeon who told me she couldn't do my hernia surgery until February or April of 2024. I saw her October of 2023. She told me although this was a major surgery and needed to be done it could wait since it was not an emergency, even though I was in pain. She needed to do a total reconstruction stomach surgery which could take anywhere from 8 to 10 hours. She needed to cut through scar tissue and cut a perfectly good muscle so she could pull it across my entire belly and attached it to the other side for reinforcement and use mesh as well. I asked if that was absolutely necessary, that is a long time to be under anesthesia. Yes, this a major surgery and we need to make sure we get everything perfect as we only have one shot at this- What does that mean, one shot. I left her office feeling scared and not completely confident with her Diagnosis. What did I know, I'm not a doctor. I knew I couldn't wait that long and again 8-10 hours. I remembered Dr. Joseph Popovich operated on my mother years ago and saved her life. I decided to get a second opinion and I am so very glad I did. I went to see Dr. Popovich and within a few days I was scheduled for surgery in Christ Hospital. And he fixed the multiple hernia's in ONE HOUR, not 10 hours. I did not need an entire stomach reconstruction. I was in hospital for 2 days and on my way home to recovery. Anyone who needs surgery, needs to see Dr. Popovich, he is so kind, considerate and very caring. He truly cares about his patients and their welfare. The girls in his office are so kind and friendly as well. You are made to feel completely comfortable. I was really afraid of the surgery, but Dr. Popovich was with me the whole time making me totally relaxed and I had the utmost faith in him. I can't Thank You enough Dr. Popovich for saving me hours of surgery and I'm sure a lot more pain than I experienced. I can not praise him or thank him enough for what he did for me. He will take good care of you and make you feel like you are his only patient. I absolutely love and respect Dr. Popovich he is the best in my book.

Dr. Popovich is amazing! Definitely the best doctor in regard to hemorrhoids. I saw several other doctors who were unable to help my situation, until I found Dr. Popovich, who was able to perform surgery on me and fix everything. The receptionists are also amazing, especially Cynthia. They were so easy to work with when scheduling my surgery.

Greatest hemorrhoid and fissure Doctor ever..I had an issue for months didnt know what it was I called and his receptionist were great. They were very welcoming and made you feel super comfortable and Dr. Popovich thank you so much for helping me and taking good care of me I appreciate it.

I got acute infections and Dr. Popovich treated me very well. The surgery was very successful. He also took care of me very well after the surgery so that I can recover quickly. Dr. Popovich is definitely a very professional, skilled, and caring surgeon!
