River School Newport, a Bright Horizons School

Bright Horizons, Jersey City gave me updates on the wrong child on my daughter's first day. They claimed she was doing great, meanwhile my daughter sat in a corner of the classroom and cried for me and I was not contacted. Specifically Newport Bright Horizons school staff neglected my instructions for my child's well being and, when confronted, proceeded to deny any accountability and attempted to deflect blame. Did not find this to be a safe environment for our daughter. Highly disappointing.

It's the best school in the vicinity! My daughter has been going there since she was 18 months and now she's 5! I couldn't have asked for a better place with such amazing teachers who go above and beyond to look out for your kid. All the teachers have looked after our daughter as their own and given her so much love and precious memories to cherish over the years. During Covid, the school reopened as soon as the initial period of the lockdown was over and we were very relieved with all the support they have provided over the years. They organize and celebrate diversity by celebrating festivals across all ethnic groups. The teachers are extremely thoughtful and ensure to create such special days for kids and wonderful learning experiences. If you're looking to enroll your child, look no further as this school brings the best mix of a holistic education experience by combining the best methods of Montessori and other pedagogies that enrich early childhood development.

Both of my children attended river school and had many wonderful memories. The faculty lead by Ms Cara are effective and affectionate. Many of their lead teachers genuinely love the children and work hard to come up with fun and educational activities and events for the children throughout the year. The kids also enjoyed the large playground at the front and back of the classrooms, which is quite a big plus for kids growing up in urban area.
