PROS: NONE CONS: HR works for the company, not you. Never trust them. Policies, or lack of thereof, are followed whenever it benefits them. There is no room for growth/advancement in this company because management only worries about themselves. and the IT department is the worse by far.

This ist for the SCR course only! The provided workbook for the exam is good but somehow misleading as the outlined learning objectives give you an idea only what is required to pass the exam. The exam as such is doable but requires a lot of time. GARP write that 130 hours as an indication should be fine, which is likely the case for people with a substantial knowledge in this area but for people starting from scratch this is definitely not enough and I'd say roughly 250-300 hours will be needed. The exam was ok but (i) some questions regarding single examples in the workbook are weird if a learning objective would be addition or subtraction, a single example might be asked for which you might not recall as although you perfectly manage addition and subtraction. The examination time was 180 minutes according to GARP, time I actually had for the examination was 170 minutes and there is no arguing as the system will close as soon as time has run out. The SCR course is a very good introduction to sustainability etc. but GARP is not as professional I assumed and focusing more on sustainable profits than sustainability.
