American Laundromat of Jersey City

They never clean their machines. This is not the first time i see this.

I drive to Bergen county to drop off my clothes and have been desperate to find a local laundromat that offers affordable and trusted drop off. I decide to try this place, and Tuesday my husband drops off and is told we have to pay up front. The lady also told him that she is the best one to wash his clothes and that shes off the following day but that our clothes can be ready on Thursday. My husband goes on Thursday and a different person is there and my clothes havent even be touched. My husband asks what the problem is, and the lady thats there said the lady called out and that our clothes will be done the following day (Friday) Its Friday morning, my husband just walked in and my clothes are all over the place open and wet!!!!!!! and no one was attending it. A guy comes out of nowhere, says that the Lady is not there and my clothes will be started again at 4 PM . Its 9:05 AM MY CLOTHES ARE GONNA SIT THERE WET?!?!??? Im calling and THE GUY THAT ANSWERS SAYS HE IS NOT EMPLOYEE AND HES DOING THE LADY A FAVOR BY WATCHING THE LAUNDROMAT. I DONT KNOW IF MY CLOTHES ARE BEING STOLEN! HE TELLS ME TO GO AHEAD AND LEAVE A BAD REVIEW ON THE SITE, TOLD HIM I WAS DOING THAT REGARDLESS. AND I WANT HALF MY MONEY BACK THATS WHY THEY MAKE U PAY UPFRONT STEER CLEAR FROM THIS HORRIBLE LAUNDROMAT I DONT KNOW HOW THEY HAVE THIS 4 star RATING, AS SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN A MARKETING FIRM IT HAS TO BE BOTS FOR FAKE REVIEWS. DONT GO HERE THEY ARE CARELESS Update: got a refund and still have brand new clothes that were bleached and ruined. Worst experience

Always clean and friendly place. Never have any issues, plus on Wednesdays its half !
