Pinewood Academy

We love pinewood! Teachers are great and truly care. It is small and special where my daughter can learn to socialize and make friends. She has been at the daycare since 4 months and has thrived. We get updates throughout the day, daily reports and monthly summaries of her progression to key milestones. Team there is wonderful. Highly recommend to any families in the area with infants / smaller toddlers.

Pinewood Academy has been a wonderful discovery for us, providing an excellent environment for our 10-month-old to grow socially and physically. Tucked away in a cozy building on the corner of Van Vorst Park, this daycare offers a personalized curriculum and plenty of one-on-one attention. Our daughter looks forward to attending daycare every day and enjoys the variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including trips to the park and spending time with her friends and teachers. We appreciate the daily photos and videos, the individualized care, and the warm sense of community that Pinewood has cultivated. One of the standout features of Pinewood is their generous extended hour policy, which has been incredibly convenient for our busy schedules. Overall, we would give this unique daycare experience a resounding 5-star rating for its safe, homey atmosphere and personalized approach to childcare in downtown Jersey City.

We feel so fortunate to have this daycare nearby. The teachers are amazing and our baby has loved every second since enrolling at 3 months. Highly highly recommend for your infant.

I called Pinewood Academy to inquire about their infant program. As a parent of an infant, I want my child to have more one on one care. Im happy to hear this daycare can offer that. The director made me feel like I already toured the school with all the helpful information. I look forward to touring the daycare and enrolling my child.

Even though Pinewood Academy is a new daycare and still becoming established, I knew this was the right fit for my daughter. I enrolled her on the spot due to the transparency of the Director and Assistant Director, the cleanliness, and the instant feeling of a "home away from home" for both me and my child. The school definitely takes pride in offering the BEST education and strives to fulfill each child's needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
