I haven't tried much of their food. But the prices are very affordable. And the staff are quite nice.

First time ordering from this restaurant, got a Braised beef brisket with quail eggs (spicy) for $29. However, I was quite disappointed when it arrived. Not sure about other dishes. Compared to the Curry beef brisket at $16 per serving from the Boom Fryer inside Newport Mall, the portion sizes were identical, but the beef from Linglongxuan had fewer tendons and it's kinda of dry although it had lots of sauce, the beef fiber just stuck btw my teeth, have to spend ten minutes on flossing.
Additionally, putting chili peppers in the smooth-textured curry beef brisket didn't quite match, and it was overly spicy. People who aren't used to spicy food might find it rather uncomfortable.

Wonderful discovery - thanks to jury duty! - my old favorite restaurant in Jersey City that we all thought we'd lost to COVID actually came back to life. I had their fish and sour cabbage soup today and it brought back fond memories. Different recipe from the previous owners but really something special, at once zesty and delicate in that weird way that's unique to Szechuan cuisine. I can't do a full grade yet because I need to go back with friends and order TONS of food to do an honest job, but I'm so pleased to Ling Long Xuan entering its next chapter
