    Training with Hayla is a lifestyle change you didnt know you needed. Shes extremely motivating, attentive, and relatable. She makes workouts fun but also does not hold back. Its the best training I have ever had. Money well spent

    Hayla has changed my life. I am a woman that has struggled with my weight, self confidence, body issues joint pains and more for all of my adult life. My mind set was trapped in a spiral of self doubt and the mistaken idea that I was not able to be strong or fit, that it was simply not in the cards for me. In my first workouts with Hayla, she called me an "athlete". Something that has stuck with me and at the time made me feel like someone else saw me for more than what I ever had. Hayla, this beautiful strong woman thought that I was an athlete. She thought that I was capable. Through our workouts, Hayla pushed me harder than anyone ever has, yet in the kindest and most cognizant way I have ever known. Previous trainers I have had were either militant and body shamed me or were not interested in my progress at all and just gave me random exercises to fill the time and their wallet. I had trainers that would shout at me to do more while ignoring the fact that my body needed to be built up. They saw me as a fat and lazy woman and shamed me for not doing more. Not Hayla. Hayla saw me as powerful. As an athlete. She has an ability to see the future through our workouts. She studies my progress, studies my movements and learns where I need to strengthen, she teaches me how to improve my form so I don't get hurt, she is patient and encouraging and inspires me to go further than I ever thought I was capable of. Hayla is extremely knowledgeable. She focuses intently on the needs of her clients and how to best support them in their journey for health and strength. I have tried gyms, other trainers, classes and everything in between and nothing compares to my experience with Hayla as my trainer. Working with her for over a year now, she has been able to foster my immense progress. I have so much strength, confidence and consistency that I owe all to her. I don't think there are words to truly describe how incredible of a trainer Hayla is. Suffice to say that my sister and father are hooked as well. I train 3 days a week with Hayla and I hope this never changes. I owe Hayla so much and I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking to strengthen their body while also feeling inspired by a strong and beautiful woman to choose Hayla as their trainer.

She truly believes in her clients! Shes very flexible, knowledgeable, and able to modify for any injuries. Hayla always listens to our feedback and is able to adjust on the fly. She's very professional, patient, and encouraging. Ive seen great results since working with her in person and on Zoom. I highly recommend Shield Maiden Fitness to anyone whos looking for a personalized and dynamic workout!

    I have been working out with Hayla for a few years I followed her from orange theory because her coaching is the best! Hayla works with you and your injuries if you have any, I have a bad back and knees she is always very attentive making sure I dont hurt myself and giving me options if I feel like I cant do something. She really cares about her clients and is always bringing a positive energy to her workouts. If you are looking for an amazing trainer that helps you become stronger and the best fit you can be with out doing burpees all the time Hayla is your girl !
