I first learned about Foresters through a presentation carried out by Yesenia Beckmann, a then representative.
I decided to invest 4K in the mutual funds because I wanted active management done on my accounts.
The service provided was poor. I contacted Yesenia with a request to cancel the monthly withdrawals and was hit with an overdraft fee the next month.
After investing for 10 months, and losing 10% in trade fees (screen shot below), I decided to go to Merrill Edge.
Once I submitted my transfer request, I was contacted for the first time in the 10 months Ive held an account by Foresters. An executive contacted me to convince me to stay with Foresters and that the initial Representative had been let go because she was not paying attention to accounts, evidently.
Glad to be gone.
