DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRM FOR TAX PURPOSES. If you go to Pinky Shah especially, it seems neither will you be able to reach her over the phone and nor does she respond to emails from clients with genuine concerns and queries. Let me provide my experiences, I came to this firm a few months in advance before the 2021 tax year was due with all necessary documents and requested that the filing be done as soon as possible. Trying to follow up with Pinky, her assistants always pick up the phone saying she is in a meeting or she is busy. I then proceed to send her an email, to which you guessed it, no response either. She acts like as If she's so busy that the white house is on her shoulders. I am not even joking how busy she makes herself seem to her clients that she will never answer the phone or respond to emails in a timely manner. Going back to my story, I had to call the office at least 10 times because some assistants would hang up on me and I really needed an answer from Pinky about if my taxes will be filed by the due date of the 18th. After giving 2+ months of time, pinky filed a six month extension on my taxes to which I said okay fine. Flash forward to late 2022, my taxes is filed in September 2022 and I recieve a notice from the state that I have incurred late penalties. This means that either they did not file my extension or something else is wrong. Now I try and get in contact with my CPA, Pinky and I get NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Imagine you get penalized because of your CPA. You trust that the CPA will do their job correctly. Now, I call Manher Shah, the owner and he yells at me saying you are paying the penalties not my firm. The extension was supposedly filed by the firm, the taxes were filed late by the firm, I incurred a penalty from the state and these guys refuse to take responsibility. I am telling you worst firm ever. I would give negative stars if possible.
