Passaic County Board of Social Services

I've called many times and left messages numerous times. I already know calling that number is a waste of time. You will be sitting on hold until you are directed to an answer machine, that nobody cares to respond too. They will never call you back or pick up the phone. I don't know how this place is beneficial to people. If you're in a wheelchair and don't drive, you are screwed. You will have to find a way there and hopefully someone will respond to you. I don't know how these people have a job. It's sad to see social services treating people this way. I bet that everyone in that office, is well supported by tax dollars. They don't care about you.

Horrible services!!! they dont allow disabled people to do anything over the phone. They said they only handle it in person at their offices without giving proper information about when or where. Stating long lines in the midst of the flu/covid/RSV season. Not having other options for the disabled is cruelty. Its disgusting how people who cant even drive cant have a support staff who takes care of things over the phone. The phone line is awful, waiting and waiting on hold only to be hung up on. Ive never dealt with so much unnecessary hassle to ask a disabled personal assistants. Help people!!!

The phone number doesn't even work! Does this show how much they care?? I came here on a Wednesday at 2:15 and they were closed with no nite at all or explanation. This shows how much social services truly care. It's obvious they don't. Can never get through even to the main Passaic county office. It's a disgrace and totally unacceptable from the state that is suppose to help people!

They don't return calls , they didn't call me saying that my snap was gonna be canceled, they sent my a letter with a phone interview with no time or date , but still no call
