Superior Stoneworks

I hired Superior Stoneworks to come and build a patio for me in the back yard - Spring 2019. Dimensions were 12 x 18 with a small addition to connect my deck steps to the rest of the patio. Bill (owner) came himself to inspect the job site and put together a quote for me on very short notice. He had some great recommendations for the project and helped guide me through the process of picking the type and style of stone, border, exactly where in the yard made most sense for the patio. In addition, i inquired about having the dirt that was excavated used to grade the rest of my yard which had a distinct slope down towards the back fence. He assured me he could do that and would go the extra mile of bringing in a few yards of topsoil, seed/straw as well. Once everything was decided work began very shortly after and was performed quickly and professionally. Bill personally kept me up to date with developments on the project either over the phone if i was at the office or in person if i was home. Communication was always exceptional. As for the quality of the work- I'd rate 5/5 every time. This patio came out absolutely amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. I can't tell you how happy my family and I are with the quality of the work, and the overall look of the patio. Bill went the extra mile for me; When compacting the base layer of stone he discovered a small area that kept sinking each time he would add stone and compact it. He dug up what he had already laid and discovered a large clay deposit that was causing the instability. 9/10 contractors would have kept throwing more stone at the problem and left the clay- hoping it wouldn't cause the patio to sink in the future. Bill dug the entire deposit out, replaced with additional stone and then went back to leveling. That kind of move showed me that Bill is someone I can trust with my business. Bill and team were professional, courteous, communicative, consultative, helpful and in general very pleasant to work with. I would recommend him 100% to anyone looking for any type of Stone/Brick work- and especially for Patio/Walkway work. He also owns a Landscaping business that makes him adept at handling clean up of project site, in particular grading/planting the rest of our yard. Cost was about $1,000 less then 2 other contractors i had contacted. 5/5 stars. Will definitely work with again.

I've seen a lot of Bill's work -- including some amazing stone walls that he rebuilt on a property in Panther Valley. While I haven't had the opportunity to use his services yet, we're in the same business networking group and everyone who has used his services raves about the experience. He does a great job... he doesn't cut corners... and he cares about his work lasting a LONG time. As soon as we're done renting and in our own place... I'm sure I'll have him out to do something awesome for us.
