Very grateful for Greater Bergen community action for giving us the opportunity to learn English and above all Thank you to teacher Sonia Coronado for being a woman of value who cares for her students with love. Thank you for having all the patience and charisma that you transmit to us as a human being. In truth, all the classes were fun. Thank you for giving your best, to give us what no one can take away from us, what we have learned, education and knowledge.

Thank you to everyone who is part of this great team, especially Sonia Coronado, our teacher who was there at every moment throughout this time of learning. I hope you continue with this great help that you give to one to be able to learn English. Thank you very much.

Great organization. They have helped so many people in so many ways over the years. I do have a comment about Allison DeBois . I'm surprised she's still with the organization. many years ago before I got sober I was part of the ladder project. Allison's office was in the home where the men lived. Her arrogance and self-importance was laughable. You were not permitted to ask her any questions nor speak with her without permission . There's a long list of are you kidding me moments when it came to Allison.When I moved out of the Teaneck house and ask for my security she refused to give it back being that I did not on what was considered to be good terms. This was a very clear written landlord tenant agreement, nothing about good terms LOL.Not wanting to be taken advantage of I filed a claim in landlord tenant court. This is a slam dunk case. New Jersey state law you cannot keep a tenant's security without cause and she had no cause.Allison showed up with I'm assuming with a paid attorney. I presented my case to the judge. Allison and her attorney did acknowledge that yes I was a tenant I did move out and I am entitled to my security but upon leaving I left the room a mess, which was not true. Please note this was a 10 by 10 bedroom that was shared and furnished with what I refer to as curbside furniture.I was completely blown away what took place next. She informed the judge that Bergen county community action program owns a cleaning company and they had to dispatch the cleaning company to clean this 10 by 10 room. She fabricated and presented a bill for 400 dollars. The judge held up the fabricated document and said Case dismissed. I was shocked along with my sponsor who happens to be a very well respected local mayor. She needed to win regardless of committing fraud and perjury. That was two FELONIES. You probably spend$1,000 of the organizations money on a lawyer when you should have just give me my $400 back lol.Even though I did not win in the courtroom I walked away the winner. You would think somebody in an administrative position would have some integrity being that is one of the core values that is emphasized throughout the program. LOL I guess she never got or couldn't understand that memo. Shouldn't have expected anything less from somebody like herself cuz that's what you get when dealing with somebody of her caliber

I thank Bergen Community Action for giving us the opportunity to learn more about the English language. Especially to my teacher Sonia Coronado for her dynamic professionalism and patience to explain to us and reach each of her students in a joyful and contagious way to learn more every day. God bless her forever.
