This place was pretty good! Solid 4 out of 5 stars, I wasn't expecting much, just driving by and found this place - however it was better than expected.

The general tso was real meat, not like other Chinese restaurants. It was fulfilling and delightful . Thank you for your services to all employed at the China House in Hackensack!!! We appreciate your authenticity..

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place he is the biggest crook he will add extra charges while ringing you up without even letting you know what he's charging you for. For example if you ask for extra barbecue sauce on your ribs while he's cooking them he'll charge you $1.50 extraa then when you pick up your order because they don't deliver he'll ask you do you want a bag and if you say yes he'll charge you $0.55 for the bag. Without telling you it's costing you. There's not a Chinese restaurant in Bergen county that charges you for bags to put your food. And if that's not bad enough even though you're paying with your credit card and its over $10 he will charge your credit card extra money also. Please stay away from this place. And the price he charges you for food is not the prices on the menu. If you order a combination you get more rice than the actual food you ordered. What he's doing is illegal and I will be reporting him. I am sick and tired of him ripping off people that walk through those doors I'm not the first and I won't be the last check out his reviews.

They're always friendly & the food is very good. The only negative is that they don't deliver.
