We recently needed their services for a close family member. Many years ago we had a meeting to discuss these particular arrangements and pre-pay for the funeral as a part of nursing home placement. The promises they had made back then were all delivered, and more, with a large serving of empathy. From my professional capacity as an emergency physician I have needed to interact with a few funeral directors, and as with any profession there are some above and some below the average. The Healeys demonstrate everything one could want in these difficult circumstances: communication, organization, and above all else genuine compassion. They were so prompt picking up our loved one that they arrived before the nursing home staff got around to calling the family about the death. The next morning when we called the office, Patrick promptly drove to the house to meet with our family. Rosemarie, John, and Patrick (as well as the rest of their team) made sure that everything went smoothly. Death isn't fun, and I don't consider funerals to be so either. However, they made this so much less unpleasant. Anywhere that they could help us by doing something they did so, and for the rest they guided us along the proper path.

The whole experience with Rod and the Healy Family was fabulous! They addressed all with compassion and assisted with even the smallest details. This Family owned Home embraces their services with tradition, and respect to all who participated. Highly recommend them. All was performed through email and calls due to distance of relatives.

First and foremost, I would like to personally thank Patrick, Rod & the entire staff here. We recently lost a newborn & it obviously was one of the most devastating moments in our lives. But in the most painless process possible, Patrick & Rod were every bit of understanding, respectful, honest and caring of our situation. They went above and beyond to make sure this entire experience going forward was a peaceful one. Other places look at your experience as another number. They did not. They looked at our situation as if it were one of their own & extended every hand possible.
