    PLEASE READ BEFORE LEASING!!: I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience as a resident of Vermella Garwood to caution potential renters about the management's negligence and lack of accountability. Approximately nine months ago [June 2023], I reported significant property damage caused by tenants residing above my unit. Specifically, dog feces were being carelessly thrown off their balcony, causing extensive damage to my outdoor furniture and patio below. Despite providing detailed documentation and a clear request for compensation, the leasing office and management failed to take any action to address the situation and ignored all requests/phone calls/ offices visits for MONTHS! To exacerbate matters, this issue has persisted, with dog feces continuing to be thrown onto my property from the units above mine.. 9 months after the initial issue was reported. This ongoing problem not only disrupts the peaceful living environment but has also irreparably damaged my outdoor furniture, which remains unrepaired due to the management's inaction. Despite my repeated attempts to seek compensation and resolution for these issues, the management has shown a complete disregard for tenant concerns and property damage caused by their negligence. [This is not our first issue] I strongly advise potential renters to reconsider choosing Vermella Garwood as their place of residence. The management's failure to address tenant concerns and maintain a safe and hygienic living environment demonstrates a lack of professionalism and care for their residents' well-being. Vermella Garwood's failure to address property damage caused by dog feces being thrown off balconies for nine months highlights a concerning disregard for their residents' needs. Such negligence and lack of accountability are unacceptable. I urge potential renters to beware and consider alternative living options.

    I moved to Vermella Garwood recently and its been a great experience overall! The amenities are top notch- gym is large and brand new, game room/common areas are awesome. Looking forward to using the pool and outdoor grills. There have been a few issues with the fire alarm going off, but management seems to have fixed it. They handled the situation well by communicating to us and giving us a chance to voice any concerns. Compared to other buildings Ive lived in, Ive never seen management so responsive and attentive, so thats really appreciated. Majlinda in leasing is the absolute best! Throughout the process she was attentive, professional and just a pleasure to work with. Ive also had maintenance requests that are normal in any rental building, and the staff always responds and fixes things within a day. Cant say enough good things about them, especially James and Marc! Overall there are issues at times, but its a great location, beautiful building and has a nice community feel with monthly resident events!

    6 month update: Deducted a star Management and maintenance staff are still great. Amenities are really good except for the kids' playroom. It is just a small room, not adequate for kids. There is a lack of cameras in the building. Neighbors are generally great as well. Few exceptions: 1) Some pet owners (small percentage - most pet owners are really good) are not considerate. Every once in a while you'll see pet poop in the hallways, by the elevators, in the elevator, etc. They'll leave it for someone else to clean. 2) Although it is a no smoking facility/building, some people do smoke and share the wonderful fumes with their neighbors. 3) Some people (again a small percentage but even that is dangerous) treat the parking lot as their personal Formula 1 race track. They fulfill their dreams of becoming a NASCAR or F1 driver in the parking lot. In the past few months, we have had multiple issues of the fire alarm going off. It has turned out to be false more than 3 times. And everyone is beginning to get aggravated, if they aren't already. Next update in some time. Moved here recently. Interacted primarily with the leasing team and the team is simply great. Caitlin, Michele and Canberk are very pleasant and helpful. Majlinda, who we've interacted with the most, is a superstar! She was the one who gave us a tour; she knows this entire community in & out. Absolutely lovely! Move-in has been amazing. The maintenance team (including Angel) has been great too and responded to our initial requests very quickly! Early days but we love it here so far.

    Weve had so many false fire alarms now that people dont even bother to evacuate There is a major safety issue with this. And to add insult to injury the staff cant even manage to turn off the alarms after the all clear from the fire department. 2 hours non stop on a Sunday night absurd.

    Place is awesome if you love the building fire alarm to go off every other month for a false alarm. I look forward to the catered food to make up for it, for the 100th time. Very nice touch! Maybe the garage door wont open tomorrow morning like it has happened in the past. We shall see! Never a dull luxurious moment here at Vermella Garwood.
