I have been at the Counseling Center of Freehold for 2 years and they have been an enormous help to me. I recently started their Spravato Treatment for depression and I could not be happier with how it is going. I have been on 15 other meds in the past and never got the relief I am feeling now. I was referred to the Counseling Center of Freehold a month ago by my psychiatrist because they offer Spravato treatment. I have been battling major depressive disorder for most of my life with little or no relief by using conventional prescription anti-depressants (several different medications over the years with the same result and terrible side effects). Spravato has proven so far to produce profound results in just a short period of time, without all of the unpleasant side effects in my case. The staff was friendly and helpful with getting me access to this treatment (that is covered by my insurance) and also provides a flexible schedule (evening hours makes it possible to get treatment without missing any time at work). If you are struggling with depression that has not responded well to other treatments I highly recommend you contact these folks for a consultation.

I have been struggling with mental health and substance use for the past 5 years. I started at a different counseling center for IOP for substance use, it is the only thing that has helped me gain long term sobriety. They referred me to Freehold to start Spravato treatments for treatment resistant depression. The nurses and staff there are very kind. I feel very thankful that I have found a center that has helped me get approved for Spravato, assists with transportation, and gives me a much needed breath of hope.
