John's Paperhanging and Painting

We hired John to both remove wallpaper from our first and second floor hallways as well as paint the hallways, hallway doors, staircase and trim. John did an absolutely beautiful job and his attention to detail was incredible! He helped us choose a paint color for the hallways that we love and I was very impressed with how clean he left the space he was working on at the end of each day. He was very professional and a real pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire him again!

We hired John and his associate Kevin to remove wallpaper from our dinning room as well as paint our downstairs rooms and rehang paper in the dinning room. John and Kevin were very professional, they arrived early and ensured to cover everything and kept their workspace organized. They asked me each day what I saw and if there was anything they needed to be addressed. They were thoughtful and very concerned that my expectations were being met. They did a wonderful job painting all the trim and ensuring that all defects in the walls were corrected. The paint job on the walls was flawless and I love the matte finish that John suggested. John did a beautiful job hanging the wallpaper in our dinning room and ensured the pattern and drop was even and lined up properly. I would recommend John and Kevin for any paint job and paper hanging project. They were easy to work with and reasonable in price and worked quickly and with care which I greatly appreciate. We recently used Johns Paperhanging and Painting for a large painting job; three rooms, two-story foyer, hallway and staircase.  His work was outstanding.  From the outset John offered suggestions regarding how to approach each room, particularly the angled ceilings, tray ceilings, spindles and banisters.  He further offered suggestions on color combinations relying upon his many years of experience to ensure the colors we were considering would work in each space.  Johns work was meticulous.  As much as we needed to be satisfied he too needed to be satisfied with the outcome of each area before proceeding to the next.  There were many times we saw him step back and examine his work with a smile taking great pride in the outcome.  John is much more than an expert painter, he's a true craftsman and is worthy of your consideration the next time you need a painting project done.
