Our philosophy, here at The Sound Garden is "Students First." With our team of accomplished instructors, we work with performers of all ages and skill levels. Our Musical Production team teaches students how to work from scripts, audition for parts, memorize lines, follow vocal direction as a group or solo performer, and perform choreographed dance numbers. They focus on giving students the tools to audition and perform in any production they choose to do.The program culminates in performances for family and friends on a real stage, with microphones and costumes. In addition, we offer a variety of music lessons, and musical instrument instruction. We provide an excellent on-site recital space for our students to perform and practice within a supportive and professional environment. We provide private and group lessons for both voice and instruments. Our instructors are here to help students learn to sing, or play an instrument in a teaching environment that is safe and comfortable.

I love being a voice and piano teacher at this school. Owners Shannon and Denise are simply awesome women to work for. The space is delightful: colorful, super clean and inviting. The entire atmosphere is uplifting. My coworkers are all true professionals who Iâ€™m proud to work with. Along with private lessons, this school specializes in musical theater productions from young children to teens. I have many students who participate in these programs and they are so happy. Kids not only want to learn, but they want to be involved with something of high quality. All of the shows have been so professional, and with a quality sound systemâ€”all students in the performances get head mics! Sets and costumes, even on a low budget are amazing. What these kids accomplish in a relatively short period of time- itâ€™s simply extraordinary. Last summer the teens did a full production of the musical RENT with just 9 days of rehearsals. The younger students did Mary Poppins and I was blown away.
Seriously, if your child loves musical theater, this is the place to be.
