My most recent appointment with Dr. Gallinson left alot of questions in my mind because there were new findings in my scan. I went on my portal to read the results and started feeling very overwhelmed by what I was learning about the new findings. (I also am having current issues with insurance coverage, and needed paperwork which the staff did not seem to grasp as I have Stage IV) plus this new diagnosed findings. When I called the office today to ask to speak to the doctor today, the staff blew me off and when I called back the staff didn't even get the message right. The girl rushed me off the phone and wasn't even concerned or considerate to listen to me because I would have also asked her to tell the doctor I was not feeling well. I will end up staying in bed again for two or more days until I finally hear from the doctor . If you are working in a medical office especially Cancer I feel the staff should at least Care. I Have Known Dr. Gallinson for Years, he is a good doctor and I know he wants to help me. But my experience with the staff today made me feel very depressed and that's not right.

Great in the beginning , yet over time can observe a definite lack of interest . I believe he sugar coats things and does not give the full scope . Moreover , if a non - cancer problem arises and it is not cancer - he could care less . My father was dropping weight like a fiend - and he taught it was normal . Close to a month after his passing , not even a attempt at a condolence call or text . To be honest , I would avoid him - unless your cancer can be surgically removed .

In my opinion, Dr. Gallinson is as fine of a physician that I have ever dealt with. I feel extremely confident under his care!!

Didn’t even make it to the doctor because the woman who scheduled me gave me bad directions, and after 2.5 hours of being lost in the rain, first I was told I needed to reschedule because “I was too upset to come in,” then because “normally the doctor has wiggle room but he’s jam packed today” (I’m sure his Friday afternoon was swarmed), and finally after being put on hold the first receptionist put me on with a second because they didn’t want to own up to the issue. I would have been about half an hour late for my appointment, because I’d left myself a lot of time (since the first set of directions had me way out of the way and I wasn’t familiar with the area). BOTTOM LINE: I don’t care if you can diagnose, if you don’t actually know how to treat people well, I don’t need you as a doctor.

Dr. Gallinson is a great doctor, has been very patient with me, but the staff he works with is terrible. I have had answers such as "that is not my job, call on Monday and see what happens (when I called Friday 9:00am and the issue can be fixed in 5 minutes over the phone). I call Summit group to tell them the insurance is waiting for their call back, and get answers "you are not the only patient" and this comes from the same person, Simone, who seems very indifferent, I guess for this person is just a job, but for me is mi life. Also when I leave a message for Dr. Gallinson, he either gets the wrong message, or gets partial message, and this has happened multiple times, in one occasion these careless people did not tell him that one of the medication (Allopiurenol) that was supposed to be used along with pre-chemo pills (Hydrea) did not make it to the pharmacy, I needed them prepare mi kidneys prior to the chemo pills, and the Doctor called me 3 days later, even though I had called him on day 1, I called Summit group again on day 3, then I got a call at the end of this day. It is worth saying during those 3 first days i started the Hydrea only and I had fever bone/muscle pain, Honestly I did not know what to do, I was still waiting for their call back. If Dr. Gallinson goes away or on vacation, there is no doctor to see you if you need to, this is quite disappointing and scary to me. It happened to me already. Also appointments are a mess. Too many mistakes and indifferent staff. I fell in the limbo.
