Going to a dentist is oneofmy greatest fears. I haven't been in over 10 years because of this. All of the staff here were the best!! Warm, caring, patient and put all of my fears to rest. No shaming or belittling because of my fear. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I have been a patient of Amir Fakhrzadeh, DMD, MS since April 2018. He is not only a board-certified periodontist, but he is also an implant surgeon of the highest calibre. Owing to the gross loss of bone underlying the gum, Dr. Fakhrzadeh was required to install several short implants, a delicate surgery which he performed flawlessly. I have lost track of the numerous associated surgeries he has performed- sinus lifts and gum grafts, again all flawlessly. He also extracted five center lower teeth and installed posts on either side to which a bridge has been installed. His fine-motor skills are exceptional; he is a true artisan which is enhanced by his deep-knowledge of oral implantology and regenerative dentistry. Dr. Fakhrzadeh is personable, patient, and caring. There is no possibility that he will try to persuade you to undergo and pay for a procedure which is unnecessary or optional.

I went for regular cleaning and consultation for Crown and Veneer or resin-composit. All my teeth are good but got the feedback that I've to fill three cavities which are virtually non existent.  I asked for the out of pocket cost (after the dental coverage) which they gave in parts and I'd to call them 3-4 times to get the complete out of pocket cost. I thought that I should get a second review by some other dentist so asked for the x-rays. They sent me a print out of x-ray on a piece of paper - which does not help much to any dentist for review. I called them up for at least 5-6 times for the x-ray and every time they said their computer is broken so they can't send the x-ray. I said how come you people are working when the computer is broken for last 2-3 weeks. To which they said everything else is working but the email. That's ludicrous!

If you are like me (a VERY nervous dental patient), Flemington Family & Cosmetic Dental Group is the place to take care of your dental health. Since the first time I walked through their door and explained how absolutely terrified I am of any dental activity (even cleanings), they have been so incredibly patient. Together we figured out what would work for me. Some examples are: I listen to my music using headphones so I don't focus on the sounds or activity and if I feel pain or just need a moment to compose myself to continue, I raise my hand and we pause til I can continue. Making the experience less frightening for their patients is important to Dr F and his wonderful team, because they know some of us have huge anxieties yet we really need to keep healthy gums and teeth. After each appointment, I feel thrilled that it was an overall great experience AND that my dental health remains very good. The more I continue to go there the less anxiety I have for the next visit. I am looking forward to my next year's cleaning! Happy New Year to all!
