We went on a stormy windy rainy Wednesday, I thought the place would be empty but there were a few tables occupied, the atmosphere was pleasant with background music, we sat in one of the booths. It felt very relaxed and cozy. The fish was very fresh - we ordered the whole lavraki and whole lithrini which came with one side per fish. The side dish was large enough! The appetizer grilled octopus was good and tender, not chewy. The only surprise was that there was no complimentary bread for starters!!! Usually at restaurants in this price range customers are given some kind of bread, I was expecting pita bread being this is a Greek restaurant but nothing. I would recommend the owner to consider this. Other than that the waitress was nice. The owner came to our table to check if everything was ok.

Worse experience ever. We called for reservations the night before. Closed a table of 7 because there would be live Greek music. We looked so forward to it. Live music was advertised from 8-12pm. They didnt start until 9pm. When we called and closed our reservation. We were never told there was a $40/person cover charge. When we arrived and seated. It took about an hour to get a waitress for drinks. we ordered appetizers and ordered 3 meat pikilias! For the non Greeks, it is an array of different meats. We were told it was enough for 2 people. When it arrived there were 2 souvlakia, one sausage cut in half. 2 lamb chops and I beeftaki. All for $60. Ok why 2 of everything but only one beeftaki? Oh well. The calamari was soggy. The chicken souvlakia were way overcooked and hard. Also and the drinks were way overpriced. Also no signs on menu, or entrance or inside of restaurant about the $40/person cover charge!!! They hit that on us at the end by putting it on the bill without saying anything or posting anything!!! The menu for the live music was priced higher than the menu for the dinning room. So if you are charging more for the same food why have a cover charge??? Will never go back.

This was my first visit to Antik and let me tell you this place for Greek food is authentic and delicious. From the moment you walk in the door your experience begins with the atmosphere and welcoming staff! The menu offers everything from Greek coffee to great cocktails and amazing made from scratch food choices. If you crave real authentic Greek food, this is the place. Lunch specials, happy hour and friday entertainment are just a few things to mention that they offered along with takeout and catering. Located conveniently off Route 46 and with adequate parking this is a place you definitely want to try. We had a strawberry mojito to start that was divine, appetizers, grilled seafood salad, moussaka and finished with excellent rice pudding, all were generous portions! Maria the owner was so kind and welcoming, highly recommended. Put this place on your radar for a Greek treat!
