Fairfield Primary Doctors

I've been looking for a new doctor and a friend recommended this place so I made an appointment with Dr. Shirish Bhatt for a yearly physical. I rarely leave reviews but I feel like this doctor deserves it. He's the friendliest doctor I've been to and he seems to genuinely care about his patients. He has a very warm and welcoming personality. Compared to other doctors I've been to that let their expertise go to their head, Dr. Bhatt listens well and seems like a very humble person. His staff behind the counter is also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

I made an appointment with Dr.Rupal Bhatt via Zocdoc. It was not until I reached their office, that I got to know that they changed my doctor because apparently Dr. Bhatt is not covered by my insurance. The receptionist at this new doctor's office even made me pay $20 stating that it was copay. It was not until later that I received a bill of $800!! They said the insurance would cover it. But instead they sent me the bill.. I contacted my insurance later and they informed me that this doctor was not covered by them at all!! I did contact them on the day I went in for checkup, but they did not respond that day.. They harrassed with calls for payment for a year.. I told them how it was their fault. Each time they'd say they'd look into it and each time they'd still call me about the money. Today I received a call from collection agency about the moneg! There was no heads up or notice that they were sending my bill to collection agency either. Also the entire treatment was a misdiagnosis.. Please stay away from this agency. I'm also preparing to file a lawsuit against them. I see in the reviews below many of them were scammed in a similar manner.

I had my annual exam hear, and the doctor is not willing to tell me my results unless I make another appointment, then she charged me over 200 dollars for telling me my result as a "service" without consent.

Super disappointed service. My husband and I have our routine exam there and after the exam, front desk told me to make a followup appointment. At this point, I thought it was just like the phone call I get from every other doctor telling me whether I was OK. During the followup I waited for 30 minutes with no apology or communications. The doctor came in for 10 minutes or so telling us our bloodwork looks alright and a month later, I receive two bills of 102 dollars for that ten minutes. Their excuses were: 1. This is a separate visit and 2. The doctor gave dietary advices. I mean, who does that? This is complete fraud. I wasn't told this is something charged for, and I wasn't aware that telling results aren't part of doctor's responsibilities nowadays. Regardless, PATIENTS SHOULD BE CONSENTED OF EVERY SERVICE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS CHARGED. WHETHER INSURANCE COVERS OR NOT, I SHOULD KNOW ON THE SPOT SO I CAN MAKE DECISION!!!

Got charged extra $200 for a yearly checkup, which is covered by my insurance. Stay away from this place.
