      image The food is average, nothing special. My "Veal Meatballs" were tough and dry.
      The service is atrocious. I have been to Coal only twice in the past year, and for good reason. Both times, it takes 20-25 minutes to get menus and drink orders. We had to stop someone walking by and ask for menus. One of our party never got their food. I don't know if the problem is in front of house or back of house, but something is not working right. I recommend going some place else.
