I cannot help to agree with the last few reviews I have read. I was so excited and overjoyed that I was accepted into this particular program. The 1st course of the program, NURE 130, was enjoyable. Not only because it was a much easier course but because Professor Annulyse was a pleasure to have teaching us the fundamentals and math. I did well in nursing math for 130 and 131. It was because of her teaching me the dimensional analysis method. Her spirit and aura is true essence of what a nurse should be. The 131 lecture teachers were also a pleasure to have. I did learn so much from them. I enjoyed Professor O'Donnell, Professor Mojica and Professor Enworom. I truly retained a lot of information from their teachings and wish I had them as clinical instructors in addition to lecture. I will say honestly that the evening clinical staff were completely disorganized and even at times very rude and bothered when a student would ask a question for clarification or reference what the book says as opposed to their PowerPoint notes. One minute the Potter Perry book is our "Bible " the next minute they say go by the PowerPoint which has different points than the book. They never knew how to set up the PowerPoint , sometimes it would take 30 mins for them to set up when it should have been done prior to class starting. If you want you students to be prepared and organized, then you must be that way as well. Another thing about my experience with this particular nursing school is that the Filipino nursing professors talk down to the students in a very demeaning manner and show great favoritism towards the Asian students over the Black and Latino students which make up the majority of the students in the nursing program. I mean they were very very rude and condescending almost speaking to us as if we were dumb or mentally incapable. It is hurtful and discouraging. This needs to change immediately. As a 41 year old woman that has accomplished motherhood and was finally able to get my life back and accomplish my goal of becoming a registered nurse I completely refuse to be spoken to in that manner from anyone regardless of their position. Respect is a 2 way street and if I am paying $8000 out of pocket I expect to be spoken to like an adult and I also expect for the professors to have patience and use the methodology of demonstration when we are doing clinicals instead of just making us watch YouTube videos. That's not what my money paid for. Show us how to do it then watch us do it, then point out our errors so that we know for the evaluation what exactly we need to be doing. It's that simple! Some of us learn better when we are being taught with visual demonstration so I believe that when we have LSC simulations that the nursing professors in that clinical setting should demonstrate what we need to be doing, that way of teaching helps the student to retain what they are seeing and it also helps them to better understand why they are doing what they are doing. I also believe that they need to bring in some male nursing professors, too many women. That is not the way of the world anymore, there are a lot of male nurses. Bring in professors that are enthusiastic about teaching and want to see ALL students succeed. They need vibrant, energetic teachers. I cannot say I completely dislike the program, I have learned a great deal , especially at the LSC and the hospital. That was the best part. Now, I can transfer to another program with a bit of a head start from what I retained from TSON, and this time succeed in med-surg nursing .

I HONESTLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS PROFESSOR IS WORKING AT THIS SCHOOL. Professor Illya Devera-Bonilla. She needs to go teach somewhere else! She does not care about students. She is involved in so many activities in this school. With that being said how can you have time to help students. Because of her I had to withdraw from the class. But luckily Im now enrolled into a new RN program and is doing well. Professors are helpful and actually care about students. I find it unprofessional of her telling students they need to look for another profession because nursing is not for you. How dare you! This is sad because she teaches nurse 130 and you have to take her class in order to move on. Overall is school is a great school just not this professor. Good luck to all!

I usually do not write reviews but due to the mistreatment I made time today to explain. This school needs to be audited/ looked into including every instructor they are disgusting to their students treated us like trash. They do not help at all their main goal is to collect your 9k every semester and fail you so you can come back and repeat the course and get another 9k. About half of the class are re-admitted students. You reach out for help they do not help you but instead watch their students struggle, request office hours and you gain nothing from her. They are very discouraging especially the Nure 131 coordinator she doesnt care about her students. They are unorganized the clinical instructors never know whats going on we were always left in the blind. Forget about tutoring you reach out to them and no one wants to help after begging and pleading to get some kind of assistance.. UCC barely has tutors for the course . Now the Exam reviews they do not go over the exams after you have taken them they place you in a room to go over the 50 questions they rush you out of the room you can not ask any questions about what you did wrong or how you can improve. They encourage you to drop the course more than they encourage you to stay in the program. You pay all of this money sit in class for hours just to go home and be your own instructor because they spend more time arguing and bashing students during lecture then actually teaching us felt more so like a war zone then an actual nursing class. If you dare to ask them a question about material during lecture that you need clarification that they CANT answer they get embarrassed and talk down on you in front of the class. If your able to find somewhere else where you will receive better education than this I suggest you save yourself the trouble from this unorganized establishment . Your mental health will be in shambles dealing with them. Please do something to help your students they are really trying to become nurses but you guys are very discouraging and bashful

Ashirifia Abekan Terrible school. They are rude and only care about the money and waste people time and money. Applied and accepted into the Nursing program in July 2022 which I was to start September 2022. After my acceptance I received an email from Kim Hosmer instructed to purchase a castlebranch account and complete and sign attestation forms and code of conduct to able get clearance to register.i complete requirements on July 22, 2022 and still wasn't clear to register I reached out Kim Hosmer and explained the situation, said she could not be of help and gave me a list of people to reached out too including the dean Constance Kozachek. I have sent countless emails and voice-mails with no response. Want to the school twice and was told to wait for a response via email. I have completed every requirement on castlebranch which cost a lot of money being that I don't have medical insurance. Kim Hosmer finally returned my call and tells me that would need to reapply to the school and start the process over after all effort put into the Trinitas. I have been cheated out of two semesters and that is just not right and No one should taken advantage of like that. I could have applied to another school and started this January. Trinitas needs to do better this is people lives and people that represent the school needs to care about the job they are there to do.

Im so disappointed with the first semester of fundamentals of nursing , when 80% of students failed the class, not only on my class but the other classes in the morning and night, that makes me wonder , is that really the students lack of study? or they should review their instructors methodology , I have been talking to many students and they all complain the same thing about the instructor , they dedicated their time studying following instructor guidance and was worthless. We were limited to a couple minutes to review previous exams, but we couldnt copy or take a photo of what we did wrong, we cant fully review our exam and during the class the instructor wouldnt review and correct what we did wrong on previous exam.Instructor wouldnt answer studentss questions, whenever you asked a question the answer you would get would be: go search in the book. The instructor would not encourage the students.First greeting we had on first day was: maybe this is not for you, many ppl fail this class. Can you imagine starting a semester with that greeting? Overall I just wanted the school to see this review and maybe take actions into improving the lecture, get a better instructor who is actually willing to teach and help others to learn the subject, not only to brag about herself and how she made it and you wont.
