Waited a little longer than I desired, but exams were thorough and Dr Kuo could accurately describe issues with my eyes, but also provide advice, backed by science, on how to improve them.

I was worry about if my eye got damaged because of my 3 years diabetes. Visit Dr. Kuo for an eye check, last year. she is very patients, spend time to answer my questions. Her office is clean and equipment is so advance. At the end of appointment, she told me that my eye is fine based on my eye picture. Wow, she is really knowing what she do. I referral more than 10 friends of mine, they are all happy with her service. My whole family come to see her now.

Experience was not good - financial impact: huge. Upon arriving was told up-front will need to pay $$ for medical and $ for vision. 1st. time encountered it in US ; a doctor up-front asking for payment. All this was explained that my insurance covers till XX and the rest need to cough up up-front. Next - sat thru and listened thru a series of machines/etc. but later on when I visited (for my son) Lenscrafter they have the same set of instruments and for 2 diag., they mark it as optional. Yes - the doctor might be phenomenal but the overall experience: not at all good. Recommend: No, except when a patient has serious eye condition/problem and need to visit someone very specialized.

Dr. Kuo is not only extremely accommodating and highly trained/skilled - she is personable, professional, and also is incredibly caring and patient. She has done everything for my wife to save her eyes. My wife has never had a more thorough examination, while having everything explained to her so clearly. She has issues with her eyes and Dr. Kuo put her at ease and refereed her to other specialist for surgery immediately. Dr. Kuo saved my wife's eyes. Best eye doctor !
