C2 Education of Edison

C2 helped me so much with not just my SAT score but literally everything. Throughout high school, I was able to get help for any AP classes I had difficulty with. All of the tutors were so helpful as well!

I went here for SAT tutoring, and one of the tutors, Yujie Ling, berated me and asked, WHETHER I WAS BORN IN THIS COUNTRY? Even while working with different tutors, I found it hard to concentrate due to his constant yelling. I spoke with other students, and they had similar experiences with Yujie. I immediately complained to the center director and contacted C2s corporate office. Their customer support email does not work. You always get an error message back. I emailed C2 executives but was ignored. I finally got a response from one of them years later with a one-liner email thanking me for my feedback. Surprised to see that Yujie supposedly still works here. I guess this type of behavior is acceptable to C2. These people don't care. C2 and its center directors only care about money/meeting sales targets. It even says this in the center directors job description. The teaching at C2 is very subpar. Each tutor has 3 students, and each student is working on entirely different things. Students would sit doing bookwork, and the tutor would check the answers. Rinse and repeat. It was common to see tutors on their phones or talking with others. I cant say I learned anything at C2. I did just fine on the SAT and got into a good university. To all the folks thinking about enrolling here dont. Don't fall for the sweet talk the center director gives you to sign up or the fake 5-star reviews on here. Youre better off using free online resources rather than paying thousands of your hard-earned money to go to C2. TL;DR C2 Education sucks. Dont waste your money.

We had a fantastic experience with C2 Education in Edison for SAT preparation and College admission process. The teachers were highly knowledgeable and provided personalized guidance that helped our daughter improve her test scores significantly. The flexible scheduling options allowed her to balance other commitments. Kathy, the director, played a pivotal role in ensuring that our daughter received the necessary assistance and support. Her dedication and commitment to the students were evident throughout the entire process. She provided invaluable guidance for our daughters college admission essay preparation, making the application process smoother and less stressful. We highly recommend C2 Education to other parents seeking ton-notch SAT preparation and essay assistance.

Very very disappointing experience with the leadership team who run the edison branch. Very very purely money minded approach when it comes to selling. I had enrolled for 200 hrs and I was told that if my elder son did not exhaust the full hours, I could carry it over for my younger son. This was before the contract was signed. At the point, I used to get calls daily to make sure I registered. Recently, when I contacted the center director via email to confirm the remaining hours and also the agreement that I could carry forward the hours as was originally promised , I have not been getting any replies. I have sent 3 reminders and not a single email has been acknowledged or replied. This shows clearly that once you have signed up and the money has been taken, there is no consideration for your questions and emails. Would be very hesitant in recommending c2 even if the teachers may be good because the focus seems to be on money and not the kids

C2 in Edison is one of the best SAT prep. Center. Our son went there, had a very positive experience and improved his SAT score, currently our daughter is enrolled here and enjoying it. Cathy who is the Director of the center is extremely caring, helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that the students and parents have a great experience. She knows each student by name and keeps detailed notes about their college interests, practice exam scores, their overall progress and well being. Cathy is also very accommodating for adjusting the class schedule and spends lot of time and effort in providing details related to college application process and timelines. Her staff and faculty is top notch and Cathy takes any feedback very seriously and addresses any concerns. Overall great place for any students SAT journey.
