Big Blue Marble Academy Edison

Warning to anyone who sends their child to big blue marble Big Blue Marble Academy in Edison NJ I started today as an assistant teacher and my toddler started his first day there as well Not only do the teachers scream all day at the children at the top of their lungs but One of the teachers swatted my son with her hand and another fill in teacher in my room grabbed a child by their hips and then continued to lift him up by his wrists and drag him across the room When I confronted the director Mariah Dorstch, she rolled her eyes at me and said Kenneth needs a little more oopmh than others I said thats child abuse And I grabbed my son, quit there and left there for good! Beware !! This place needs to be closed down asap! Also let me add that its a nut free school but theres a huge jar of peanut butter in the open office where kids can reach and also that every single child is sick! Green snot running down their noses AND croop coughs and yet theyre still there !!! Update: My poor son who didnt have a rash at all this morning (down there) is now redder than an apple and has bumps in that whole area Redness and bumps also started to form on his face Update as of 2/27:forgot to mention that we have no training what so ever for the job either. Im a property manager and never worked in a child setting in my life. I have babysat multiple kids growing up but no training, certificate, or college either and they just threw me out there to work. I am a caring person and I treated all of the children as my own yesterday but it just Goes to show that they just hire anyone bc they are that short staffed. There was no initial orientation like okay, we dont yell at children and if a child is bad we etc or anything like that, it was just good morning youre in classroom B So sad This needs to be rectified asap for all daycares

Do not send your kid here. The workers do not care for your children and will yell and hit them

Even since the new management has taken over, things have been falling apart. Used to be a good school you could entrust your kids with, not anymore.
