My daughter recommended their Mirliton. She told me it had beef in it. I went to the restaurant. Ordered and asked for a side of fried plantain instead of rice. I did ask what kind of meat was in it and the lady DID answer in creole. She said cushon . Why did I think that meant beef? Anyway. That food was ROCKIN. Until I realized it was not beef. It was too late. I ate around the meat since it was too late and side eyed the meat while I ate the fried plantains. So imma call ahead and ask for a custom order next time. Ill pay whatever she want. To make it pork Free. It was that good. Worth paying extra for custom next time. Even if i gotta get a big order, split it up and freeze it.
