When my parents passed away and my brother and I had to sell the family home.  Making this a bigger challenge both of us lived out of state.  After I interviewed several highly regarded realtors in the East Brunswick area, I am very glad I chose Chris Ryan and especially his team. The absolute all-star MVP on the team is Lisa Roberts.  My parents' house had suffered from the fact that as they aged my parents were less able to keep up with maintenance. Covid exacerbated all of that as during the pandemic they moved to their vacation home in South Jersey and the house in East Brunswick was mostly unoccupied for over two years.   All the realtors we spoke with considered the house a fixer upper at best and in reality, it might only appeal to flippers.  My brother and I saw that most of the issues were cosmetic so we decided to put some money and energy into getting the house presentable for sale. Although Chris is an excellent, experienced realtor who really knows his market, it was Lisa that was that did the hard work in getting the house ready to sell.  Since I live 5 hours away, she was the person on the ground making sure that the contractors showed up and did what they needed to do.  She and Chris had excellent contacts for contractors who priced jobs fairly and got things done in a timely fashion.  Both she and Chris were excellent communicators and I always felt well informed. Due to their diligence, we were able to get the clean out and fix up done quickly and we were able to catch the very end of the seller's market in early September before rates really went up.  Chris did a good job helping us price the house so that we had multiple offers above asking.   Chris was able to help us sort through them and gave us good advice during negotiations.  In the end we put in about 25 thousand dollars of work that let us probably get another 125 thousand dollars at the sale.  I would recommend Chris Ryan to anyone marketing a property, but I would especially consider him and his team if you have a house that needs some TLC or you need to market a property from out of state.

We have bad experience, One of the agent got us into contract and she not able to sell past 2 years and yet she not releasing me out of contract.

Attentive, knowledgeable, honest, patient, kind...just a few words to express who Nevin is. From our first phonecall, Nevin exuded professionalism and was extremely honest with expectations when selling and buying a home simultaneously. We had already found the home we loved and needed to sell ours fast. Despite the challenge, Nevin was filled with optimism and got the job done above asking. She had professional photography and videography done to market our home and made it really stand out...not cheesy camera phone photos, this was a top grade production. She made our listing stand out on multiple platforms, including social media.
Finding a realtor that's up to date on current marketing was just a bonus. But my favorite thing about Nevin was her attentiveness, she never left us in the dark. Every phonecall was promptly answered, every text replied, even after office hours. She always made us feel like we were her top priority, even though we were just one of her many clients at the time. With 3 small children, a lot of chaos that comes with getting a home ready for sale, showings and appointments, Nevin was on top of everything and was the support system we really needed.
As genuine as these words are, they aren't enough to express our gratitude to Nevin. We met her as a relator and left making a lifelong mentor and friend. If you come across this review on your search to find a realtor, just take this as a sign to hire her, because she will be the biggest blessing in the chapter you're about to embark on.
