My experience shopping at Furniture Now was excellent and Ive got plenty of good things to say about this retail shop on Route 18 Southbound.
The person operating the store (male) on the Sunday afternoon of my visit was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I appreciated his down-to earth approach that was not pushy. He was happy to answer all of my questions. While he was the only salesperson there on that, August, afternoon, he didnt offer a business card and didnt seem to have any, not even one without his specific name on it.
I believe this business relocated from Woodbridge, on Route 1, where it was three times as large, according to what he explained. So it may not be new and certainly after shopping there it does not feel like its a new business. Theres plenty of catalogues, swatches and other selling aides throughout the store.
I found the selection to be adequate; I was shopping mainly for a small sofa and coffee table. I also looked at a couple of mattresses, however nothing seemed special as far as the ones I sat on or tried.
The showroom is larger than I thought, based on what I expected from first seeing the outside. This is partly because there are two sections; perhaps it was two separate store fronts at one time. And, there are two outside signs (one says Grand Opening and the other displays the name of the store and is bright yellow to garner attention). By the way, he indicated that permanent signs would eventually be installed outside.
Most of the furniture on display was marked with price tags, though not all of the pieces were marked. However, he provided those prices on request without delay. Enjoy your visit and Do Go!
