        I attended Center Stage as a student many years ago and not only were the staff professional and amazing, but I learned so much more than just dance. Now that my daughter is old enough she is in the "My First Steps" class and she loves going each Sunday! I can't wait to watch her grow and learn from the same teachers I was lucky enough to have!

        Christy Rak should be fired. My little cousin went to her dance classes years ago and still has PTSD. My cousin was about 80 lbs, and 13 years old when she attended the class. Christy pulled my cousin to the front of the class in front of everyone and said that her posture should be fixed because the way she stands makes her seam fatter... is this the kind of behavior we should promoting in todays world?  This is NOT body positivity. Young girls are so impressionable, vulnerable and delicate. Years later she is still traumatized by this experience. I cannot imagine having a daughter, signing her up for classes at a "prestigious" dance school, sending her to a top instructor, and having this happen to her in front of an entire class.
