        Great experience with SavATree. Everyone from Arborist to work crew to office staff were knowledgeable and professional. Considered the nests and nature before trimming trees and left property neat and clean. Used SavATree in the past and will use them again when needed.

        Proceed with caution. Perhaps I had a unique experience, but I thought it was worth sharing so you can make sure you're prepared when getting your quote. We had a unique ask to haul away a large pile of logs (mostly rotted). It is not a fun or pleasant job for anyone involved, but we want it done. The person was very judgmental about our property and work that was done. When I explained what we needed removed, he tried to reposition my request as to leave some items behind. Lastly (and this was really struck a nerve), he asked if we needed any other work. When I said no, he mentioned I had dead ash trees on my property to be removed. I don't have any dead ash trees on my property and when I realized he mentioned down my driveway, he was referring to trees that were not even on my property. Be warned of this practice as I know some tree companies are just seeking as much lumber as possible - even if that means they plan to damage property or take from your neighbors.

      We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a positive experience with your recent consultation with one of our arborists. We fell short of your expectations, and we will double our efforts to ensure we leave a positive impression with all our prospective clients.As far as the ash trees are concerned, the arborist should have asked if you owned the dead ash trees, but, I can assure you he was not looking to sell the logs for lumber. That is not our practice. We truck the wood to a recycling facility, pay to dump it, and the facility then recycles the wood into mulch. By mentioning the ash trees, the arborist was pointing out a hazard that could potentially impact you, your property, or your neighbor’s property. That is our professional duty and responsibility. While we do remove trees, we do not promote the practice unless a tree is hazardous. In fact, we are often complimented for promoting tree preservation as opposed to tree removal. The practice is not as common as it should be.We wish you well in completing your project.
