Montessori Academy

Over half the staff at this school has turned over in the past year. The new head of school is very dishonest, rude to parents and children, and disrespectful towards the staff. One of the very experienced primary class teachers left abruptly last year because of the way she was treated by the head of the school, after which on a zoom call with all parents present the head of school said she would not hold anyones money hostage if they wanted to pull out their children for the following year due to the change in teacher. We have not receive a penny back yet a year later, they event kept the following years deposit. The other alarming thing to me was how many students needed an IEP when transferring to public school from grade 1. I didnt think my daughter received the type of attention or help I would expect from a Montessori school.

We love this school. Ms. Ratna and Ms. Candice in the toddler classroom are amazing. They are supportive and kind to all of the toddlers. My son comes home talking about them and are excited to see them everyday. We love this school and have had only positive experiences even through the pandemic.

Beware of the contract. My schedule changed and I had to change preschools for my 3 year old. Long story short we paid over $8,500 for 3 months of care. They would not budge on refunding any money. The grounds are beautiful and the teachers are good, but the office is too ridged and inflexible.
