I could write a book about how impressed we are with Five Star Painting of Monroe. The painters went above and beyond every moment they were in our home. These diligent workers took over! They literally took over!!!! They moved our furniture out of the way in a very caring fashion, covered everything up to protect it, taped over the woodwork, sanded the imperfections off of the walls, and painted our home. I know they did other things to deliver a perfect job---too much to mention. Truly a perfect job. They arrived on time, started working immediately, cleaned up as they went along, and let us know what was going on. I can promise that you will not find a better painting company. We look at the job they did and we are thrilled to have had them in our home. Absolutely thrilled!!! Our sincere thanks goes to Five Star Painting of Monroe and their crew of hard working and extremely skilled workers. They delivered perfection to our home. Day1- Project manager and 1 painter started the job promptly at 8am. The painter did not speak English and I was told to direct questions only to the project manager. The project manner left midday and left painter to finish downstairs small bathroom. At about 5pm painter packed up and left. The downstairs bathroom was completed beautifully. To my dismay when I went upstairs to check the main bathroom debri and soot were everywhere. The boarder paper was all over the floor, water was left on my new granite countertop causing it to gray. My new toilet lid had a dried up stream of paint in the rim that appeared to have been used as a painting vessel. And because the toilet lid had been removed there was paint soot inside the top opening. I dont have much but am very appreciative of what I have, but it was treated like a dump. Needless to say, I cleaned up the bathroom as best I could. My only regret is that I didnt take a picture. Day2- It was my understanding from the Project manager that the job would restart between 10-11am. Instead, at 8am there was a 3rd guy who I had never met pull up in an unmarked van saying he was here to paint the bathroom. He went into the upstairs bathroom and closed the door. When he was done I told him how the bathroom was left and asked him he had anything to clean the paint out of the toilet lid rim. His tone immediately changed and he began denying that it was left like that. After the back-n-forth of him saying no it didnt happen. He took the lid outside to his truck, but I could here him yelling on the phone with someone in front of my house. That was unprofessional, he couldve did that yelling in his van. In the end.. he was able to clean the lid back to its new appearance, and a 4th silent guy collected the money. I was so glad they were out, because the 3rd unknown guy was confrontational and intimidating . I will not use them again. Word to the wise a picture says a thousand words without you speaking.
