I wanted to cancel my subscription and was given a really hard time said it had to go in person Mon-Fri 9-5. I took time off to do it and was read my email address which was correct but it was never canceled. Today the receptionist was rude kept saying there was no manager on premises which I didnt believe. I was told Id have to come back in to cancel. After insisting that I speak to a manager I was put on hold. A lesson learned if you have a problem go to cooperate customer service in California the women was very nice and I immediately received my cancellation email. I must say Clifton LA Fitness was quick to take my money but horrible customer service to help.

Was recently fired due to lack of L.A Fitness standards I was the lead janitor and I loved greeting members and doing above and beyond without any request of compensation of any sort other then the yearly raise. The staff are doing their best to accommodate what management cant do for the members( just one) . They take the heat of when the pins go missing and or when the machines break when its not them thats responsible. Keep in mind standard staff members only come to work to honestly make ends meat and to see members of the gym and avoid issues with work associates. I recently was told I didnt make the cut for LA fitness my a person who doesnt even know how to control their own emotions during situations where members need tending to not the overwhelming feeling the OM position comes with standard. One who cant control themselves have no business controlling those around them. For following a dwindling leader they too will dwindle.
I will say it was an honor working with those whom I worked with during the time I had. It just sucks that one bad egg with power can demolish relationships and sever ties with many great members and employees to satisfy the ego of power.
Dont cancel a membership all cause one meaningless person cant control themselves when you have an issue just go to another LA fitness where that manager can actually manage without focusing on themselves first while punched in. Like Wayne.

this review is not real, LA fitness staff in Clifton make you do fake reviews for them for a free day pass if youve already had a membership. Name was kevin

Absolutely horrible gym. Not maintained well at all, and the lady manager that mans the front desk sometimes as such an attitude and lack of regard for the patrons. I quickly cancelled my membership. Something I should have done along time ago

Management sucks! The worst gym I ever worked in! The place is dirty and they treat their employees like dirt!
