Do not sign with this company! You earn milestones ie payrates and they will take them from you for random reasons that dont marry the agreement that was signed when hired. Joe Birmingham is a cancer to the organization, he blamed the unique issue on the School District of Philadelphia, and a document that I was not privy to read and or endorse. I was literally robbed of pay without a conversation prior and was told to get a letter from the principal for my rate. This is not a thing and a total lie promulgated by Joe. Do yourself a favor and sign for big bucks elsewhere! Modern Day Slavery presented as an agency that cares about staff and the children!

after looking at these reviews and knowing a current ESS employee personally thats having the same issue of not getting paid for 2weeks I do not recommend how do you not pay your workers? This is starting to look like a pattern to me.

I only worked with ESS for a few months before my district started hiring internally and I had to fight for months to get my last paycheck from them. Connor, the regional manager, never returned my multiple emails and calls. I never even received my last paycheck from them and they wanted to give me a gift card because my district wasnt in their system so they werent able to pay me. I wasnt trying to get into trouble with taxes, so lets not do a gift card. Im very lucky my district paid me instead, but ESS was terrible. Ignored my calls just because they didnt want to pay me.

I'm so excited with the job I am doing with ESS. It's like an adventure to me. So many Schools to go and so many places to see. It's a great way to start off in Education
