Barr Lawrence I DO

I took my mother to see Dr Barr in January 2024 and I witness an elderly Spanish woman rudely talking to her co workers and answering the phones with an attitude. Base on the doctor staff I assume the doctor must be the same way. My mother wasnt happy with the experience we wont be visiting his practice again.

Honestly, he dont even deserve this one star but theres nothing lower. I have a Workmens Comp. case and my company sent me to this doctor. He was very rude very dismissive. No compassion about the pain I am in and now Im in more pain after he did his exam on me. He asked too many questions that had nothing to do with why I was there. He was very unprofessional. It was like he was rushing us out of the office. Once he was finished, his exact words were OK. I got all I need bye and walked out of the office. didnt ask if we had any questions just so unprofessional he gets a -10 stars from me

I wish I could give this guy a negative star. I was in for a workman's comp case and he was degrading, dismissive and asked questions like he was trying to catch me in a lie about something. Also with the recorder..ughh. Sent me back to work full duty without blinking. Didn't review my MRI results with me when they came back. Just kept saying "oh you just have degenerative stuff going on." As my shoulder significantly declined, I requested a second opinion from the insurance company. Thank goodness for my new provider. A year and a half later, I am about 50 therapy sessions in, and now 4 months out of a serious shoulder surgery. This guy may have caused my condition to worsen. I may have been able to avoid the decline had he just paid attention or even acted like he cared for 2 seconds. HE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND NEEDS TO RETIRE BEFORE HIS NEGLECT CAUSES SERIOUS DAMAGE TO SOMEONE, IF IT HASN'T ALREADY!!!

Scheduled in the beginning of July for a Workmans Comp review. Appointment was on Monday August 22nd. Received a call from the office the week before to confirm. Drove 1-1/2 hours during rush hour traffic and when we arrived the office was closed for a WEEK due to "unforeseen circumstances". RECEIVED NO CALL FROM THE OFFICE TO LET US KNOW! Not the level of professionalism you would expect from a medical office who actually cares about their patients. A total waste of time! Sure seems like Dr. Barr is a favorite of insurance companies. If you have a choice of Doctors - FIND A DIFFERENT ONE!

This dr is another insurance puppet! The medical board really needs to pull these drs license if they aren't gonna be in the medical field for the right reasons. He took an oath to be there for the patient but he is there for the insurance company. I have a workers comp case and he said I needed no more treatment and yet I went on to have alot more tx, including surgery. He is a hired gun!! Run!!
