I was a new patient. Went to my appointment, was taken back to a room where I sat for 1 hour & 15 min. Getting a little annoyed now. Why do they give you appointments? Just walk - in from the street like you do at any Hair Stylist, I have only waited a matter of minutes in there. Ok, in comes a Nurse Practitioner I'm thinking to myself,.is this who is going to see me and not Dr. Boyle? Annoyance #2. She asks why I am there, I tell her I have a few things I need to discuss. I start telling her them. She stops me and says" I won't be able to address all of your concerns today, " Unfortunately, they only give us 15 minutes with each patient". What???? Annoyance #3. My main reason for coming was that I need to have an EKG and whatever else it takes to get a clearance for an upcoming surgery. Ok, EKG was abnormal, she can't clear me for surgery. Not her fault, it is was it is. My blood pressure was on the high side, she tells me she is going to increase my blood pressure medication, I am taking 2 different meds. She tells me she can't give me scripts for other meds until I come in and see the Doctor, really? Why didn't I see him today, I ask. She apologizes but with no reason why I didn't see him. I am told my meds will be called into the pharmacy. Two hours later I go into the pharmacy. Surprise, surprise. No medication there for me. Not annoyance #4 now, pretty aggravated. I call pharmacy next day, hummmm no medication called in as yet for me. So I call the office and I am told it was called in. Really? Why isn't it there then? They will call pharmacy again. Finally, it's ready, but guess what? Only 1 of the blood pressure medications, not 2. OH MAN, now I'm pretty much on fire by this time, my pharmacy is about 20 minutes away. Another call made to Dr.'s office. Girl at desk tells me she will give Nurse Practitioner the message. This was early in the AM. By the end of the day, no medication called into pharmacy for me.....Now, I am really on fire. Now here is the deal, I had an abnormal EKG, with an arrhythmia, and you don't make sure that I have my blood pressure medication? If I have a heart attack or stroke who will be held accountable for that? Finally, 2 days later prescription was called in. Needless to say, I immediately start looking for another Dr. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, uncaring, etc etc. Very poor care. Totally unacceptable in my book, this is my health they are playing with. They don't even deserve 1 star. Pharmacist told me that when Dr. Boyle was there just by himself he never heard any complainants but ever since Nurse Practitioner and other Dr.'s joined the practice, he has heard many complainants from customers who come into pharmacy. Good luck to anyone who goes there. I would not recommend.
