Go somewhere else. The staff lies constantly. They never give you a straight answer. If you call, they transfer you to the wrong place until you give up or get disconnected. The parking is so far away from the patient rooms and the ER, that you'll need a wheelchair before you pass out. Also, hold tight to your personal belongings. They'll get lost and no one will ever tell you what happened. They'll keep you an extra day to milk the insurance

If I could give this hospital anything in the negatives I would. COOPER HOSPITAL IS HORRIBLE!! I love Virtua Hospital. I go there for everything. I'm currently dealing with an issue with Cooper Hospital that has been ongoing for a long time now. They have been lying to me the whole time saying people would call me back. They have been trying to make me pay for a medication that I don't need. Urologist DR. SEFTEL even screamed and yelled at me on the phone in the presence of his supervisor MS. COLE and she did NOTHING. She said she would call me the next day but instead I got a call from the pharmacy trying to get me to pay for the medication that I don't need. I told everyone at Cooper this story and guess what..I'm staring at a letter signed by VICE-PRESIDENT LAUREN BUDESA(who I spoke to on the phone and told this story to) saying they will no longer have me as a patient as of 4/30/24. All because I'm not happy with them not taking care of me as a patient... why would I not keep calling THEM when they said they would call ME!?!? Patient relations is a waste of time!! The whole hospital is a waste of time. How do you yell and scream at a patient..really? And then when I try to talk to Ms. Cole she cuts me off because she didn't want to hear me speak after she avoided me for months!!! I was very nice to them!!! I was never disrespectful. They were the disrespectful ones. I never raised my voice when I spoke to them. I always apologized if I rambled whenever I spoke to a NEW PERSON. Because every time I had to call and they had to call me back it was a NEW person I had to explain the story all over again to. Like right now... I spoke to patient relations Jenny and she said she would escalate it...well, I spoke to Jenny on 4/19/24 and havent heard from anyone before this letter signed by the vice-president Lauren Budesa. This is how they treat their patients. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone!! I don't feel comfortable at all going near Cooper because of Dr. Seftel out of the blue yelling and screaming at me. I have PTSD, ADHD, and anxiety..I had to speak to my therapist and psychiatrist about this. Just seeing a Cooper ad disturbs me. These are the people who represent Cooper..Budesa, Seftel, Cole..my personal experience..they know. LJ Alias is Bailey

Everyone must have their own experience, because I've been to Cooper emergency room and GI specialist and both times have received excellent care. The nurses & doctors in those departments took great care of me, and I wish I could stay with them but insurance constraints really suck.

If I could give less stars I would. My family and I were under the impression that this facility was our best option when my uncle was diagnosed with cancer. We choose to take him there instead of hospitals closer to home, that was a mistake that unfortunately that would cost our family what precious time my uncle had left. My uncle was given the worst news that his cancer had spread to his brain. Due to the severity of his diagnoses i assumed the oncology/radiation team was going to be just as aggressive as his cancer, I could not have been more wrong. He was there for 1 week in that time he lost his ability to walk due to the incompetence of the physical therapist who lied on his paperwork saying he was able to, the last step he ever took before passing two weeks later was walking into that emergency room. He was released in a wheel chair in the middle of a snow storm with no discharge paperwork regarding his treatment. I spent HOURS on the phone trying to talk to somebody to try and figure out what the next step was and everyone I spoke to was in shock that he was not given instructions or even a phone number, they were sorry that this was happening but NOBODY could actually help me. I left several voicemails to patient relations and the social worker that was supposed to do her job and make the transition from hospitalization to treatment. It wasn't until I contacted another medical facility and got them involved that I was able to get my uncle the care he deserved, unfortunately it was to late. I am still waiting for patient relations to contact me regarding the injustice my family endured. I won't hold my breath.

The reason why I give my local hospital a negative review is the Administration and staff I have had children in this hospital and have been a intern in this hospital and have seen People working in the hospital who do not live in the area or even respect the people who come to get care at this hospital who actually live in the city. This place has had so much money donated to improve the quality of care for which is necessarily. However it seems more of a political move from the sponsors who donated the money for improvement IF ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO THEY HIRE WHO ARE NOT RESIDENTS OF THE CITY LEARN TO RESPECT THE VERY PEOPLE THEY TREAT HERE WITH DIGNITY & RESPECT. THESE NEW HIRES ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE SO DISASSOCIATED WITH THE CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY THEY SERVE IT'S AN OUT RIGHT OUTRAGED THAT MUST BE KNOWN. IT SEEMS AS IF IT'S A CULT LIKE EXPERIENCE OF MONEY MAKING FOR PEOPLE WHO GENUINELY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CITIZENS THEY TREAT IN THE COMMUNITY. ITS MORE OF A POLICING EXPERIENCE A LACK OF EMPATHY & DIGNITY THAT YOU CAN FEEL IMMEDIATELY EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU COME. HIRE PEOPLE WHO GREW UP IN THE CITY WHO CAN RETURN THE MONEY BACK IN THE CITY THEY ACTUALLY COME FROM THEY KNOW HOW TO TREAT PATIENTS WITH DIGNITY AND THEY KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF TRUSTING SOMEONE WHO IS CARING FOR THEM WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS HOW TO TREAT THEM WITH DIGNITY & RESPECT IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY. SHAME ON THE NEW ADMINISTRATION FOR CREATING THIS ATMOSPHERE OF NO RESPECT FOR THE ACTUAL CITIZENS OF THE CITY THEY ARE GIVING CARE TO
