Hugh Gallagher and his crew were so professional and meticulous with their work. Hugh's final price was exactly what he quoted me. Upfront with explaining rebate and even called to see if there were any issues with skylights. Highly recommend, will definitely use again for any future jobs. Thank you, Hugh! Love my skylights.

A big shout out to Hugh Gallager from Solar Illuminations for his professionalism. I had an issue with an architectural skylight in my house and approached Hugh to fix the problem. I got Hugh's contact through a recommendation I received on a FB group. He was very quick to respond and immediately came over to take a look. Unlike other contractors who said that the entire skylight had to be replaced, Hugh convinced me that he could remediate the issue without replacement. Hugh and his buddy Larry are wonderful and genuine people. They took care of the problem and diligently followed up on their work. Larry mentioned "They are very stubborn and take challenging projects". They are indeed very stubborn in a good way to their clients because they not only finish the work they promised but continued to make sure that it's in a good standing. I am so happy to have found Hugh Gallager to take care of my skylight and would highly recommend him. He performs his profession with a good heart and dedication.

Hugh Gallagher and the Solar Illuminations team replaced 6 skylights in our house in August, 2021. Those skylights were "fixed" multiple times before but continued to leak. After the installation all skylights are leak free. Hugh was extremely professional, never pushed and always provided complete information. It was a pleasure to deal with him and the work was well done. The pricing was fair as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for new or replacement skylights.

I had a bad leak in the ceiling a year ago. Several roofers recommended roof replacement including the 2 skylights. But the roof was only 16 years old, so my instinct pointed to getting new skylights. Velux was the trust-worthy brand with NO-LEAK warranty. I found Hugh Gallagher's company Solar Illuminations with 5-star reviews on Velux website. Mr. Gallagher was responsive with estimate and installation, he also reminded me about the energy saving incentives. After installation, he programmed the remote control and made sure I was familiar and comfortable with the skylights and build-in blinds operation. Unfortunately, I found the ceiling was wet again months later. Mr. Gallagher personally climbed up the roof to check. This spring, he again brought the installer/roofer, Larry, to check to be sure. Larry pulled out 3 rusted nails in the shingles, unrelated to the skylights, as the culprit of the ceiling leaks. The level of service and after-installation care has been above and beyond ordinary. Last week, when we had an 80-degree warm day, I tried to open the skylights but found the remote malfunctioned. I call Hugh again. He drove 45-minutes to come out to help. I apologized to Hugh that I had become a pest, but he smiled and assured me that he wanted to be sure I was happy with the product and the service.
