        Im here now wish me luck I dont get inspection - the gate was half open half closed but I didnt have to get out to open the gate my truck made it through so that must mean its open ?

        It was a rest area years ago, named for shock jock and noted non New Jersey resident Howard Stern. Budget cuts forced its closure in the mid 2000s

        The former Rest Area on 295 that was a convince for many people who were traveling on that road. Now the Staties use it for the collection of highway taxes from hard working truckers.
