Haircut was standard great clips, nothing special just extra attitude during the service. Came in with a picture, Ernesto told me why that wasnt feasible even though Ive had it before, seems like he gave me a generic fade that didnt fit what I was asking for, but worked for him, ended up finishing the haircut at home with shears and a razor

I've been going to Hombre regularly for three years now and have been consistently happy with my haircuts. I really like talking to Ernesto, and the shop is a very pleasant space to spend the time in. I plan to keep going for the foreseeable unless I move away from Bloomfield someday (no plans to). Definitely recommend.

Apparently they have no concept of a genuine grace period.. many months back, when I called them to say that I was going to be late by 15 mins and if they could accommodate or reschedule, and I was not happy as we couldn't make the time work because they're open at the most inconvenient times. When I decided to call them again because I've been hearing very good reviews about them, they took my details down but later realized that with the earlier fiasco, my account was blocked and they couldn't accept me anymore. And I haven't even been a customer with them once. Have never seen a barber shop rejecting customers based on some scheduling conflicts in the past. Never recommending such practice and they have lost a prospective customer forever. EDIT: thank you for your reply. Disagree with your suggestion that I repeatedly cancel and do not honor appointments as sometimes last-minute changes cannot be avoided and these are not intentional. But I will take your suggestion in taking my business elsewhere, and would not recommend you to anyone. Best of luck.
