        Im not familiar with this bank, its my aunts bank. Aunt Joan tells me it takes months to receive checks .She has to get money orders to send bill payments. When she calls the bank shes told checks have been mailed out. She hasnt received them where were they mailed to? II told her to change banks but she said shes been with them for years. Horrible service!

        Where does all the hate come from in the other reviews? I have been with them for a few months and am completely happy with them. Not only does Kearny offer far better interest rates than everywhere else but the whole staff is wonderful and thoughtful. It appears to be old fashioned intimate banking service in office, and they have been very helpful when I call in. I would highly recommend!

        The Kearny Bank in 21st & 5th Ave. is officially closed! However, the new branch located in 11th & 5th Ave will Open in May.
