        I have been going to this place for years. Even finding myself, waking up in the morning and deciding to drive 2 hours and 40 minutes from the Hudson Valley, just for lobster stew for lunch.

        I didn't like the thin/liquidy chowder. The lobster roll was very cold and had no flavor

        A hidden gem!!! The lunch special is a lobster roll and a cup of chowder (any of them) and such a delight! The waiter was so kind and very knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant history. And the blueberry pie was amazing. We also got a whoopie pie and the lemon meringue pie, but blueberry was the winner. We will be back!!

      Hi, yes our chowders are brothy, we do offer a taste of the chowders before you order so that you will know exactly what to expect. Lobster rolls in New England are typically served with a toasted bun with chilled lobster meat. Our lobster is fresh daily and locally caught, served with butter and mayo on the side. thanks
