A hidden gem. Great for young children. In cold weather there is a structure and swing and the little pond freezes as a safe ice play area. In summer the small brook and pond add a fun exploration area for the kids but they are far enough from swings and slides that on days you don't want kids muddy/wet you can avoid it. Playground: It is an excellent playground for hot days because of the shade. There is a mini climbing wall, sandbox, swings, and play structure. Behind the playground structure, there is an open green area for kids to play and run. In late summer afternoons it can get a little buggy due to the stream/pond near by but still one of our favorite spots. Careful when navigating in google maps, sometimes it sends you behind the park to the road parking vs. the parking lot. Picnic area: They have tables around a little pond. Very cute place for a picnic with the kids. Lots of shade.
