School House Inn

Hello Ms. Rounds. I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at the School House Inn. To address what I believe is the reasoning behind this review; you could not operate the heat in your room. The thermostat in the room is a simple Honeywell thermostat in which you set the your desired temperature at the top and the bottom tells you the actual current room temperature. Since you were the only one using the heat this past weekend, it would have taken about 15-20 minutes for the boiler heat up and heat to come to your room. This should have been properly communicated to you by our front desk staff but it was not. For that I am very sorry. We did however move you to our sister property next door, the North Conway Mountain Inn. You were then very pleased with your new room and the hospitality from Emily, who is actually the manager of both properties. Given that we did relocate you to a room that you were very happy with I do hope that you will reconsider and update this review to a better one. Unfortunately mistakes do happen on rare occasions and we tried our very best to rectify it for you. Either way, I am very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you and I am glad that you ended up enjoying your stay at our other property. Be well.
