Who ever said installing an inground pool is a simple process either never had one installed or is lying. From determining the size and location to best accentuate the landscape to choosing between vinyl, fiberglass or gunite, salt water versus chlorine, filter system, heater, fencing versus auto-cover, patio type, etc. there are so many consideration to each that most of the bigger pool installers in New England don't have the knowledge or the patients that support your confidence in such an investment. Chris at Mountainscapes - is different. From the very first visit to our property discussing our "vision" Chris was not only able to understand what we were looking for but was able to help us understand all of the other aspects to be considered and the pros and cons of each to allow us to make informed decisions that made us feel that we got exactly what we were looking for. During the entire process (yes it is a process and will take longer than you think), Chris and his team were patient, polite and professional and their work is meticulous. Not only is Chris a master in all aspects of the site prep and installation, he was also extremely knowledgeable in setting up and teaching me about the Pentair Intellicenter that allows me to monitor and control my pump, chemistry and lighting. If you are considering an inground pool or any type of hardscape to your property, I would not recommend anyone other than Mountainscapes!

Building a gunite pool is expensive, time intensive, and worry making. Hopefully, the *one time* you do it is the *only time* you do it! This means that -- going into it -- a home owner could not possibly predict the process. At every stage over the 9+ months of activity (site prep, digging, boulder and ledge removal, rebar, concrete, plaster, patio-work and finish choices), we were plagued by doubts. Today, one year post-completion, we are thrilled with the quality of MountainScapes' work. Chris, in particular, is something of a pool artist. It was truly worth it, but as homeowners you need to be prepared to be patient!

I bought a house in June 2020 and MountainScapes helped me design the landscaping. They did a huge job including bringing in fill for a new slope, removing/moving large rocks from the ground, grading and seeding my lawn, and installing a post and rail fence with a wire cover. They did an amazing job and were incredibly responsive. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone that needs medium to large landscaping projects done quickly and well.
